Gold Sponsorship
Gold Sponsors pledge between 2,500 and 4,000 dollars. This sponsorship is very important in that all Gold pledges will go towards travel expenses to and from races. A major part of the UCSB Cycling Team is our encouragement of new riders to try racing their bikes. We believe this is an important aspect of the sport, so the team covers all entry fees and travel related expenses for athletes interested in participating in the collegiate race season. The team provides gas money, lodging, and organizes carpools to every race. To show our appreciation, Gold Sponsors are invited to the annual sponsors banquet at Oreana Winery where food, wine, and entertainment will be provided. Team members host the banquet giving you with a chance to meet the athletes and for us to thank you for your investment in our lives. Also, weekly updates of the team's activities throughout the race season (February through April) will be sent out and you will receive a framed picture of the team. All Gold Sponsors will be recognized on the team's website where your logo will be displayed. Gold Sponsors recieve large logo placement on the front and back panels of our team kits.
