The purpose of Lambda Alpha is to encourage and stimulate scholarship and research in Anthropology by recognizing and honoring superior achievement in the discipline among students, faculty and other persons engaged in the study of Anthropology.

How to Join:
Invitations are sent to eligible students towards the end of summer and an Information Session is held at the beginning of Fall Quarter.   The Induction Ceremony is typically held at the end of October.  If you have not received an invitation and believe that you are eligible to join, please attend our Information Session or send us an e-mail.  While our Induction Ceremony is held during Fall Quarter, we accept new members throughout the year.

If you are not able to join until after Fall Quarter, you may print out the following Membership Form.  Take it to the  Anthropology Main Office so the Undergrad Advisor can sign it stating that you meet the requirements and give you information on officially joining.  Fill out the bottom portion, include a check for $45 payable to "Lambda Alpha" and place it in the Lambda Alpha mailbox in the Anthro Mailroom.
