At the meeting we discussed the following:

• Meetings will only be called for if they are necessary, and instead we will usually have social gatherings (dinners, hikes, barbecues etc..).
• We also talked about the Islamofachism week, and if members are interested in working on a counter event then they should inform the President who will direct members to the people working on counter events.
• The point that the Lebanese Club is a Cultural Club and it is a family and a safe space regardless of political beliefs or associations was reinforced.
   
• Bar B Q planned for Sunday October 14th at Goleta Beach at 12:00 pm.
• At the BBQ, the $5 quarterly dues for the club will be collected. These dues help enable us to have events like the free BBQs and dinners as well as other social gatherings. We'll also talk a little about things we might want to do later during the quarter as well.
