Purpose of projectOur team is composed of ten fourth-year mechanical engineering students. The chief purpose of UCSB Mini-Baja is to allow students to gain experience in real life engineering by allowing them to manufacture a vehicle that requires interdisciplinary skills. This project gives students an opportunity to gain experience in design, management, fabrication and an overall experience in product development. Students experience how every decision affects the engineering process.
