Team Captain: Kamala "Baja Mama" McNaul

Hometown: Sacramento, CA

Bio:
Kamala resides on an avocado farm in Ojai, is a part-time preschool teacher, and commutes to UCSB to pursue her Engineering degree. In her spare time, she raises the coolest 3-year old you'll ever meet. She is a master of organization and time management.

 

Sam "Black Shirt" Chapple

Hometown: Carmel / San Dimas, CA

Bio:
Sam enjoys rebuilding/fixing/upgrading his stubborn truck and Baja bug. Next year he plans to stay in the Goleta area and continue working for FLIR. In the future, Sam aspires to design personal submersible watercraft.

 

Rory Hofstatter (aka: Stew)

Hometown: Santa Clarita, Ca

Bio:
Rory is interested in motorcycle racing and plans to attend grad school next year to further his education.

 

Chris "Deer Hunter" Prax

Hometown: Redwood Valley, California (near Ukiah)

Bio:
Chris is an outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. He also likes to drive his muscle car, it doesn't get much cooler than that. Next year he looks forward to joining the professional engineering workforce.

 

Colin "Captain Crunch" Webb

Hometown: Cerritos, CA

Bio:
Colin likes playing sports including soccer, cycling and boards sports. The nickname, "Captain Crunch" was given by his family after many sports related injuries and hospital visits. Next year he hopes to start his engineering career, possibly in manufacturing.

Team Captain: Matthew Beccue (aka: Matty)

Hometown: Lockwood Valley, CA

Bio:
Matt is a proud father, hardworker and part-time auto mechanic. During the weekends, he enjoys riding his dirt and street bikes, off-roading and hiking.

 


Kazuki Hashimoto

Hometown: Ventura, CA

Bio:
Kaz likes homework.


Michael Ibbetson

Hometown: Carlsbad, CA

Bio:
Mike makes people run in fear, rumbling down the street on his Honda Ruckus. He also enjoys some tunes


Rigoberto Lopez (aka: Rigo)

Hometown: Avenal, CA

Bio:
Rigo was born and raised in Michoacan, Mexico. He enjoys playing soccer and tennis with his friends. He will be graduating June 2009 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He is looking forward to using his engineering skills at future jobs to better and improve the living conditions of this world.


Riley "Nighthawk" Robbins

Hometown: Burson, CA

Bio:
Riley likes long walks on the beach during sunset. He is also into motocross, off road stuff, camping, being a pilot and wants a bulldog.
