Welcome back to a New School Year with a Special “Back To School Swing Dance”, featuring the legendary Swing, Blues, and Boogie-Woogie of Rob Rio and His Revolvers!
Light refreshments will be provided, and more.
The “Back To School Swing Dance” is co-sponsored by the UCSB OSL After Dark Program. This event is FREE for ALL SBDC members, FREE for ALL UCSB STUDENTS, and FREE for the General Public!
A FREE no-obligation introductory Swing Dance lesson will be given from 8:00 to 9:00 pm, just prior to the start of the dance.
Everyone is invited: students, faculty, staff, and community members! No prior experience is needed. NO dance partners are needed. All ages OK. Large wooden dance floor
Prices for the Saturday Night Lindy Hop Workshop and Swing Dance:
This Dance will be held in the new UCSB Student Resource Building (SRB) Multipurpose Room (room 1112). Convenient Parking! (New 4-level parking garage next door, in Lot 22). Next to the UCSB Faculty Club and UCSB Thunderdome! You can find this on the UCSB Campus Map, Map Grids E-1 and E-2. You can also find it here with the SRB highlighted.
