Highlights of Winter Quarter 2004 SBDC Activities

The Swing and Ballroom Dance Club was very active this past quarter. Here is a summary of some of our recent Winter Quarter 2004 activities and events (photos will be added when available).

SBDC Dance Etiquette "Tip of the Week": As an ongoing feature, the Swing and Ballroom Dance Club publishes a weekly Dance Etiquette "Tip of the Week". Each week, we announce the etiquette tip, and then it is posted on the SBDC Web Site.
SBDC Weekly Basics I Lesson Schedule: As another continuing feature, the SBDC Weekly Basics I Lesson Schedule is posted on the SBDC Web Site. For Fall Quarter, we concentrated more on basic Swing Dance Lessons. SBDC club members are able to find the dance topics of interest from the schedule, and plan in advance to attend those lessons. All lessons are supervised or conducted by the SBDC club officers.
Winter Quarter Major Dance, Workshop, and Theme Nights!: The SBDC held its 9th Annual Valentine's Dance on Saturday, February 14th 2004 (Valentine's Day!), in conjunction with Brian Gibson's Salsa Classes. It was a special evening of "Salsa, Swing, and Everything In-Between".

For Winter Quarter, we held a "Mardi Gras" Theme Night on Monday February 22nd, 2004
