Chinese New Year is one of the most important festival celebrated in the Chinese culture. It has been celebrated as family affair, a time of reunion and thanksgiving for thousands of years. This tradition of family unity is acknowledged on New Year's Eve with a dinner arranged for them at the family banquet table called "surrounding the stove" or weilu.

TASA, in observance to this wonderful Chinese culture, had hosted Chinese New Year Banquet at local Chinese restaurants for the past two years. Games were played and red pockets were given out. We wish students could keep enjoying warmth from home. .

台美同學會為了讓大家感受都家鄉團聚的溫暖﹐特別在農曆新年舉辦晚餐聚會。 除了模擬圍爐的感覺以外﹐ 還有賓果游戲以及紅包大獎。
