What is a community? Who’s in? Who’s
out? Who defines us? How do we find our places on the queer
continuum? Should we move beyond the continuum--beyond
identity politics? What if we are written into the
community, but still don’t belong? What about our
ethnicity, class, spirituality? Are they part of the
continuum--part of our community? Can we be more than just
queer? Are we a community or commodity? Where’s the sex in
our sexual identities? Who are our youth? Is this a
lifestyle or political community? Can it be both? Does it
have to be both? What questions don’t we know how to ask?
