OURSELVES: "The Drag Science Fair" Ever wanted to be the king or queen of your own empire? Now you can! Join us for this interactive session and learn how to be a drag king or drag queen. You can experiment with packing, tucking, binding, walking, synching, dressing, applying facial hair or makeup. Find out the inside scoop on everything you’ll need to take off or put on. No experience necessary! Come try it out or just be a voyeur. Presenters: Members of The Disposable Boy Toys, Santa Barbara’s own drag king troupe will be co-leading this discussion with two of Santa Barbara’s finest queens! DBT has been performing in venues throughout Santa Barbara for almost a year, and last fall, five members had the opportunity to participate in the Second International Drag King Conference in Columbus, Ohio. Girla and Bella Donna are two fabulous queens from Santa Barbara and local favorites! They both perform a wide variety of drag queen styles on a regular basis in Southern California.
