Local Lodgings
Here are some suggestions of inexpensive
local hotels. As soon as we confirm any special rates for the
Conference, we will post them here with the hotel information.
Visitors must display a valid parking permit
or use metered stalls. Visitors may purchase a commuter parking
permit from one of the Kiosks located at the campus entrances, or at
the Parking Services office. The kiosks are open Monday through
Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m.
Permits are required in all areas of campus
Monday through Friday from 6:30a.m. to 5:00pm. No permit is needed
if parked in metered spaces (but the meter must be fed). Look at
your permit, it will state the type of spaces in which you can park
(C, S, A, B1, B2, B3). Park only in the stalls specified on your
permit. All permits must be displayed in the lower left corner of
the windshield (driver's side).
For more specific information on parking at
University of California Santa Barbara, visit the Parking
Services web site.
