• ACTIVISM & POLITICS: "Organizing a Speakers Bureau"

Want to start or improve your current Speakers Bureau on campus? Learn the tools and information to educate your campus about LGBT awareness through speaking engagements. This workshop will provide the structure and outline to create a lgbt presence and help members think through some of the concerns they might have regarding speaking in front of groups, discussing emotional or controversial issues and confronting homophobia.

Presenters: Monica Ann Arrambide is the Director of LGBT Programs at Santa Barbara’s Pacific Pride Foundation (PPF). Rafael Cosio is the Director of HIV Prevention and Education at PPF. Sharon Bettis is the Director of Counseling at PPF.
