OUR COMMUNITY: "Queer Theatre: A Workshop" How can we put theatre to work in the queer community? The emphasis will be on how to create an educational and political theatre piece. This workshop is about the hybridity of personal politics and artistic creativity. We will do some basic acting/improv exercises and discuss relevant issues to the queer community. At the end of the workshop a series of monologues will be created. Presenter: Greg D’Amico has been acting and creating theatre for seven years. He is currently working on a theatre piece with intentions of performing professionally this summer at a theatre in Oakland. Room: Ucen Lobero |
