OUR COMMUNITY: "UCLGBTA 101: An Introduction to the Organization"

What is the UCLGBTA? What is its mission and who is included in its membership? What issues are under examination and what projects are underway? This workshop will introduce the audience to members of the UCLGBTA Steering Committee who will highlight the history of the organization, describe current projects and activities and who will solicit ideas for how best to advance the work of this system-wide organization.

Presenters: John O. White, UCLGBTA Secretary, is Principal Analyst in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor—Academic Affairs at UCSD. Chad Sanger is an Academic Advisor at UCSC and current Chair of the UCLGBTA. Joseph Sampson is a student at UCSC and steering committee member. Sarah Archibald is an academic researcher at UCSD and former UCLGBTA Co-chair.
