Also, we would like to thank all those who made it out to the All-You-Can-Eat
Pho Night. We will be working with AS and other organizations,
but we raised $448 from Pho Night alone and will be donating it to aid
the victims of the tsunami tragedy!
Additionally, we would like to send out our thoughts and prayers to
all those affected by the tsunami and remind you that there are numerous
ways you can help out if you'd like to.
Donating straight to the charity organizations themselves (i.e. Red
Cross, Doctors without Borders, Direct Relief International, etc.) attending
fundraisers (like All-You-Can Eat Pho Night), showing your support at
candle light vigils (article),
or similar events.
Here is a short list of fundraiser events happening soon to aid the
tsunami victims:
INDUS - selling bracelets
Associated Students - Donation boxes around the UCen and the
Arbor
UFSC (United Fraternity and Sorority Council) - Setup
and distribution of money collection canisters.
Cambodian Student Union - Selling eggrolls
Zeta Phi Rho - Charity
Poker Tournament

Thefacebook! - 12.21.04.
We know you
are probably pretty bored over winter break so why not do something
productive?! We started a group on thefacebook.com for you guys. If
you don't know what this is, it's like myspace, or friendster, or ringo,
or one of the other 10,000 networking sites. But the cool thing about
this one is that it is focused towards schools, so you can find people
who are in your classes, people who live in your dorm, on your floor,
pretty much stock anyone! JK. So, if you feel like it, sign-up, join
the group, and bother some members over break! I mean keep in contact
w/ everyone! Click here
